This PVC Schedule 40 Spring Check Valve will prevent back flow and keep prime in water systems. The spring creates a positive seal with no back pressure. All of our Check Valves are NSF Rated 61, which means they are certified for use with drinking water. NSF stands for National Sanitation Foundation. If a pvc pipe fitting is NSF rated it means it has passed very strict standards and test procedures and is certified for use in residential or commercial plumbing projects.
