Flexible Black Corrugated Non-Kink PVC Water Garden Pond Hose
This Non-Kink Flexible PVC tubing, commonly referred to as "Flex PVC", “kink free tubing”, “water garden hose”, “pond tubing” and “corrugated pond tubing” is perfect for use with water gardening, ponds, waterfalls, fountains and aquariums. 
Smooth on the inside to speed water flow, reduce material build-up and reduce friction, this lightweight tubing can easily be routed in any direction necessary without the use of multiple fittings, thus simplifying plumbing layouts and the installation of your job.  It can be used in areas where space (for fittings) is limited and/or in situations that simply will not accommodate rigid pipe.  Constructed of high-quality materials, it is sunlight, ozone and mildew resistant (although we do not recommend installations in continual sunlight).  The black color prevents sunlight penetration which reduces the ability for algae to grow, and makes it practically invisible underwater.  It is lightweight and flexible, but it won’t collapse, crimp or leak around curves or if buried under a reasonable amount of stones or dirt.  It makes a great replacement for rigid pipe or for standard vinyl tubing, and is available in standard (MM) or wider (UL) sizes. 
Our Non-Kink Flexible PVC Tubing is easy enough for almost anyone to use.  Trimming or cutting is much simpler than with rigid PVC pipe (it can be cut with PVC pipe cutters, a standard hack saw, a carpenters saw, etc.)  Each fitting eliminated with this highly-flexible pipe is one less fitting that can fail and cause your system to leak.  The smooth interior reduces friction, increasing your efficiency and lowering your overall operating cost.  It also coils easily for storage and transport.
It is specifically designed for use in the installation and maintenance of water gardens, koi ponds, waterfalls, fountains, aquariums and other similar water transfer applications where flexibility and ease of use is demanded.

What our Non-Kink Flex PVC Tubing is NOT intended for:
  • High heat situations.  Our Flex PVC Pipe is great for many applications, but it is too soft to work well in situations where you are venting hot air, such as furnaces, water heaters, wood burning heaters, etc.  Do not use our pipe in these situations because the high heat could cause the pipe to collapse, potentially causing a hazardous situation.
  • Situations where there is “constant” or “high” pressure.  Water flowing through the pipe is not considered “constant pressure” or “high” and is normal.  Constant pressure is created by flow being stopped at one end of the pipe for long periods of time. 
  • Drinking or “potable” water situations.  There is nothing toxic in our pipe, but it is not intended for use in situations that provide drinking water.
  • Chemicals.  While our Flex PVC Pipe works well with many chemicals (i.e. swimming pool and spa applications), it may not work well with all chemicals, especially those that are in their un-diluted state (swimming and spa chemicals are in always used in a “diluted” state).
  • Insects. Our Flexible PVC Pipe is not resistant to insects, such as termites.  While we do not believe that the product attracts termites, we have had reports where termites have eaten through similar pipe in areas of high infestation and insect activity.  If you have a termite or other insect problem, cure the problem before installing the pipe.
