Lay Flat Pool Discharge Hose
This Lay Flat Discharge Hose, commonly referred to as “lay flat hose”, “discharge hose”, “backwash hose ” and “flat hose” is perfect for use with water, light chemicals and other agricultural, irrigation and construction fluids.
Manufactured with a continuous high tensile strength polyester fiber circularly woven to provide reinforcement, it is one of the most durable lay flat hoses in the industry. Formulated with UV protectant, it is able to withstand outdoor conditions, and is ideally suited for use in pool and other general open-end water discharge applications, greenhouses, nurseries, agricultural use, farm use, construction use and for mining discharge. The PVC tube and the cover of the hose are extruded simultaneously to ensure maximum bonding and high quality.
This hose is very strong, yet relatively lightweight; it resists twisting and kinking; it does not absorb water and is mildew proof. It is resistant to grease, oil and many chemicals and acids. It easily rolls flat for easy storage and transportation. It can be coupled with aluminum or malleable shank connectors or quick connects.
It is specifically designed for use in low to medium pressure applications for the discharge of water and light chemicals. It works well for agricultural, construction, marine, pool, irrigation and rental purposes, and is easily transported and stored in its lay-flat, coiled position.
What our Lay Flat Discharge Hose is NOT intended for:
-
High heat situations. Our Lay Flat Discharge Hose is great for many applications, but it is too pliable and soft to work well in situations where you are venting hot air, such as furnaces, water heaters, wood burning heaters, etc. Do not use our hose in these situations, even for temporary situations, because the high heat could cause the pipe to collapse or bond, potentially causing a hazardous situation.
-
Venting. This Lay Flat Discharge Hose is intended for use with fluids. It is not intended for the venting of gases, such as carbon monoxide, etc.
-
Situations where there is “constant” or “high” pressure. Water flowing through the pipe is not considered “constant pressure” or “high” and is normal. Constant pressure is created by flow being stopped at one end of the pipe for long periods of time. Drinking or “potable” water situations. Our Lay Flat Discharge Hose is not intended for use in situations that provide drinking
