22.5 Degree Slip Elbow Fitting for Schedule 40 PVC Pipe (Slip x Slip). At times, the two pipes that you need to join form a 22.5 degree angle or turn. If both ends of your pipe have smooth ends, you would use a 22.5 slip elbow. Schedule 40 PVC 22.5 ells are designed to turn the flow of a liquid at a 22.5 degree angle. Both smooth pipe ends are glued into the elbow, forming a 22.5 degree turn or joint. All of our Schedule 40 fittings are NSF rated 14 & 61, which means they are certified for use with potable (drinking) water. Maximum temperature is 140F.
